I realize that everyone can't have everyone they love live within 30 miles, but they should!! Thinking of you, Della, and we can have a pity party soon.. Jk!! Have a great remaining time out there!! Sometimes having expectations does lead to disappointment. You are a very loving and nuturing person so I know this has not been exactly as you would have liked.
Anya is beautiful and of course you will develop a relationship with her over time. She will come to adore you.
Enjoy the visit and thank you for sharing the photos!Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09540261342921063236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-313234209573779535.post-3456286529687919562014-12-09T16:01:34.879-05:002014-12-09T16:01:34.879-05:00You're right. Actually, there was a time when i held him and he did cry, but I think it was when Jim and I went to church without Michele. Even my close by grandchildren sometimes cry. In time they grow to realize who we are and that we love them. I am expecting Austin to have forgotten all about me when he comes at Christmas, but I'm also expecting him to be crazy about his grandpa all over again. I hope I'm not disappointed.

PS. She is the cutest little thing ever! You are blessed.Marthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15293816902877287168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-313234209573779535.post-91571844247287528902014-12-09T15:41:15.861-05:002014-12-09T15:41:15.861-05:00Hugs Gramma, I really feel for you. It will get better, so much better. Once there are siblings, ooooh, they will compete for Gramma's attention, they will fight to sit on your lap. ;) What a beautiful grandaughter you have, and I hope you have a wonderful time with her. Don't worry, you two will be best buds when she is a couple years older. My youngest is eight months, and just this evening was fighting for her fair share of the skype call with Gramma. :) She has important things to say don'tcha know. :) I'm not sure how poor gramma copes with the cacophony as they all crowd around the screen to try to share their news.
