still here....

If you're here in the north east of the U.S., what is it with this weather?  Since when do we have a whole week of smiling sunshine emojis, days of sunny bliss?  Days in a row, lined up as if we're in Phoenix or something!  It's going to be eighty today, and we're thinking of going to the beach!

Yesterday we took an impromptu trip to the apple orchard, and got a ride on the wagon behind the tractor out to the picking trees.  Wulf and Tennyson thought it was great fun!  Apple cinnamon donuts and a gallon of cider, some cute little mini pumpkins, and we were all good!

I'm headed out the door to the pool, so no pictures this morning.  My sister is doing a bit better, I think she's going to be much better with more rest.  It's SO hard to see her struggling, but pneumonia is rough, and she wasn't in the best health to begin with, so it's been a difficult week for her.

Anyway...running late, have a really good day, and maybe I'll do a nice catch up post later!

It's the same here! I said to Bob yesterday that it's crazy we are having weather in the 80's at the end of September. It's supposed to be this way for the whole week again. I'm afraid it's going to suddenly change and start snowing, and I for one, won't be ready for it.

Glad to hear your sister is doing better. You've got temps in the 80's? Here in the Seattle area we went from 70s and sunny one day, to low 60s and rain the next. But it feels like fall now! I love it!

I'll never be ready for snow, driving in it at least...especially at night. But I know what you mean...our forecast here is for sunshine for the next week straight, that is weird.

Thank you, Valerie. I'm enjoying it too!

Billie Jo, this is a strange sunny autumn. I'd almost prefer the temperamental dark and rainy kind, but the grass is always greener! (if it's hot and sunny, I want to be in my bathing suit at the pool or beach...)

I'm not sure it makes much of a difference in the hospital, she's not even near the window. But God can do amazing things, maybe she'll be home soon and can enjoy it, she loves sitting in the sun. :)

Thank you so much Terri. :)

Yes! It's nice and cool at night, and sunny all day, for the next week! So strange!

Hi Della!

Send your lovely weather over here please ๐Ÿ˜Š I’m so happy to hear Cheryl is improving. Yes going home where she can rest now and maybe sit outside in the sun. I hope you got to the beach today. Lucky you! Enjoy. ☺️
