....it hasn't been all puppy dog tails and rainbows, but it's better. I have taken a few pills this fine day, which I don't like doing, but sometimes keeping a headache at bay is smart. You can't imagine how thankful I am that this is working. I enjoyed that pool for almost four hours today. I finally got out and changed into a sundress, and here I am in the AC, blogging on the comfy couch.
Moving in the water has been so nice, and the sun, ahhh. Sunglasses are worth their weight in gold though, this blue sky isn't messing around. It's some powerful sunshine. In no particular order, some photos...
Pizza night! The middle one was Thai pizza, can't remember the exact name, but it was SO good. There was another one, too. And shh, we did pretty much polish them off.The three doggies, Banjo the spunky Border Collie, Aaron, Lilly-the-Lab, and on the floor, Pretzel.
They got Miss P from a shelter a few years ago, she was very sickly, but with some good vet care and lots of love, she is the best dog.
Flowers in our room.
The desert in the back yard.
Last night's dinner: roasted chicken and root veggies with spicy green beans.
You can see Banjo trying to help Aaron...
The dessert, a Boston Cream cake from scratch, and oh it was good with Tillamook French Vanilla ice cream.
We watched a movie called Tetris last night, took place during the Cold War, and was quite interesting, based on a true story.
It is 37 degrees back home. We have tomorrow here, then head home on Wednesday. I will admit to being a teeny bit homesick. I miss Sunny and my comfy chair and the grandkids, and Char and Cam. Not terribly, like I'm sobbing, ha, but I will be glad to see them. Home, the place you like to get out of but always want to go back to.
Ah well, you all have a good day!
