It's been quite a weekend!  We had a quiet afternoon on the deck today, quiet after yesterday's overflow of fun and happiness!  Today Oscar and Sonja and Baby Kaia joined Char, Cam, and I, along with Paul...for dinner of airfried chicken wings, homemade chicken tenders, roasted brussel sprouts, and sweet potato fries.

So yesterday ten of the kids and spouses and grandkids came over and oh my goodness!  The siding on the house where the grill melted it years ago:  all fixed and replaced!  The house powerwashed, the trampoline taken down, the yard all raked up!  Even the grandkids were out there working!  Not all day of course, they finished up and there was plenty of time to play on the pogo sticks they found in our play stuff, and in the little cars, and running around the yard.

I grilled hot dogs and sausages for lunch, and dinner was homemade mac and cheese, ham, bbq chicken, rolls.  Margaret made two ice cream pies, and there were chocolate chip cookies and molasses cookies.  We went through lots of seltzers and Coke Zero and the little low sugar drink pouches for the kids.  It was supposed to rain, but it never did, it was a very pleasant day.

Ah well.  I'm tired enough.  Paul leaves for Cincinnati tomorrow for work, and Grace is coming over with the kids for a bit.  We have afternoon plans for Charlotte Claire's birthday.

I thought I'd update here, in case anyone's new...if you already know all this or if it's boooooooorning, that's fine too, just skip on by.

We have 16 kids, 12 are married.

We both just had a granddaughter named Amelia (Emilia!)! So cool! You have a wedding coming up then, and several more too, in time! I do love your children's names!

I have to walk the line of what's my business to write, and what they want written, don't want them mad at me ha, I haven't heard anything from them about listing their occupations:). I wish you blessings as well!

Most of your children are in the healthcare industry!! I have a former Nurse Practitioner who lost her license due to alcholism...she is almost a year sober so I wonder if she will get her license back...she has many health issues due to the alcohol. Then we have an English Teacher who we spend the Winters with !! Two children was just perfect for me! I admire you gals with big families! What a great way to get your Spring work done!

That was fun to read that list! But I'll never remember it, haha! I have enough trouble remembering how many grands and greats we have. Years ago I had a mothering mentor who went on to have 12 children. She recently passed away at the age of 87. Her obituary said she had 12 children, 101 grandchildren, and 150 great-grandchildren!

Hi Della!

Happy Belated Birthday to Char πŸ₯³πŸ₯³ I’m hope she had a wonderful day πŸ₯°

I love all the photos. Such a lovely family you have.

I was away last week in Victoria on Vancouver Island. My girls took me there for Mother’s Day………So beautiful. We had high tea at the Empress Hotel. Oh my goodness…..talk about BEAUTIFUL!! Google it………..πŸ’—πŸ’— We also went to BUTCHARD GARDENS. Talk about lovely. The whole place reminds me of England. All green and all the flowers out. It has been years since I’ve been there. You should put it on your bucket list. I’ll send you a few pictures on your email.

You list is just amazing! How they have all grown since I started following you. Oh my………….

Have a lovely day tomorrow. I’m so glad to read your walking is getting soooooo much better. Have a great time at the pool tomorrow and just a wonderful day! πŸ₯°
