we like to be there when we can..

 ....but we aren't there yet.  Home.  We left early this morning, drove up through Florida to Georgia, then South Carolina, North Carolina...Virginia.  We're south of Roanoke, in the southern corner of Virginia.  We're still nine hours from home.  So tomorrow, another day of driving.  Don't feel too sorry for us though, we took a refreshing swim when we got here, then ate our dollar menu burgers without the buns, and an orange, we brought some from Florida.

Grandma...

She was so thrilled to be moved out of the memory care unit to the second floor, where she has her very own balcony.  

She got haircut on her 94th birthday, and a key lime pie from Publix.

One last glance at her home, which is being sold.

It feels fantastic to be sitting here on my comfy hotel bed with my feet up...ahhh.  I'm excited to get home, but also I've had a really nice time with Paul, and it was so nice to see Grandma.  :)
