As you know, we have a lot of kids. They're grown now, only the two girls here at home. But once upon a time, not too long ago, this house was teeming with small children. High schoolers, middle schoolers, elementary kids, toddlers, babies, all at the same time. I miss those days with all my heart, but I don't miss the exhaustion and the sleeplessness.
Anyways, last night I had a dream that I had gone away for a few days, and when I got home, Suzanne had painted a kitty mural on my bedroom wall, it was beautiful, but on my bedroom wall? I woke up, saw it there, and hmmm...then I got out of bed, and Sonja was there (her little girl self) with little Camille...she said Cam had woke up so she got her out of her crib. In the dream, I had forgotten I still had small children, I had been taking my time in the bathroom, unheard of!
I sat down to play with Camille, and reached out and snuggled her into a big hug, and kissed her big smoochy cheek, it was so real I'm going to cry. She tried to wriggle away, but I held her tight for just a minute. I said, "I cannot believe you are going to be three years old in a few months! How did that happen?"
I woke up. Three years old. ha. She's going to be eighteen in November! (In my dream I knew it was September!).
What does everyone think about Jimmy Kimmel? I don't think people should be cancelled and silenced for their opinions. I don't love Jimmy, and totally disagree with what he said, assuming it was a MAGA kid who murdered Charlie. He should have left it alone, at least for a bit. But people getting fired and ostracized for how they feel and what they say is not sitting well with me.
Oh well, off to the pool I go...have a good day!

What a wonderful dream!
About Jimmy Kimmel. I don't like the us vs them way these shows are now, but I do not agree with someone being silenced for their opinion.
Sometimes our dreams can seem so real! Glad you got a have a few minutes of having your children little again. Without the exhaustion! :)
Dreams can be so strange. I rarely remember my dreams, but now and then I do and never know what they really mean. How nice, though, to kiss that little face and have it feel so very real. xo
Aren't those dreams wonderful??? We get to back to those precious days, if only for a bit.
It was market pressure, not Donald Trump or the FCC, that forced Jimmy Kimmel of the air. And ABC saw him for what he was: unprofitable.
Well, I am under a "gag order" from the job, so I cannot comment on Kimmel or anything political anymore. Aren't those dreams precious? Smiles.
It's kind of scary...the hateful rhetoric either way doesn't sit well with me.
I'm so very glad I have the grandchildren to have those hugs with! :). But it was a wonderful dream!
I know!!! Cam was the cutest little toddler!
Yes, wonderful...but kind of sad...:)
You are probably right, it's always all about money...
Linda, that's awful...in my humble opinion. I honestly wonder about having a whole nation of people afraid to express themselves, and I know you aren't afraid, but have been warned...it just isn't right!
Della what a lovely dream! Little Cams chubby cheeks was just lovely. π₯° Oh my goodness that must have been a real beautiful dream. Just as well you have all those little grandchildren you can hug and kiss their little cheeks πππ
I don’t get involved in US politics. We have our own to get involved in and grumble about π
Such beautiful weather here. This time 3 years ago we had a snowfall. We had 29C yesterday. Just perfect in my opinion. My flower pots have had the bun and I’ve bundled the up to take to the area that has been developed for composting. Sad π
I hope you have a wonderful day!! π
