18underoneroof : fox or coyote?

As I was getting the kids ready this morning, I saw this guy in the backyard.

Fox? Coyote?

I wish I had time to chat, but I think I am going to pack up the kids and go out and about with abigail....

Mary Kate said...: Can't be positive, but it looks like a fox. We have coyotes in the forest preserves that surround our neighborhood, and they tend to be shaggier, grayer, and shaped a little differently.
