....it's the most wonderful time...of the year!

Paul getting our Christmas tree...Sonja sent me this. It's snowing back home, back in New York. A major snowstorm is going to hit, but here in Salem Oregon, it's raining out. I do miss home, more than I realized I would. That doesn't mean I am not glad to be here, as my son Sam always says, two things can be true at the same time.

I'm sitting here in the living room with my second cup of coffee, admiring the little tree we set up. It needs more ornaments, but there's no hurry. It makes it cozy in here.

I am the only one up, I'm on east coast time. Jonathan got home super late last night, and needs to catch up on some sleep.

Kathryn needs to catch up too, she gets restless at night and I kept her busy yesterday.

My little grandson Wulf is sick with a cold and fever, and now granddaughters Anya and Elise are sick with colds too. I hate when the little ones get sick, but there is a bright side: Wulf was cuddly and fell asleep in his mama's arms yesterday. Sometimes when the really busy little ones get sick, it's a blessing to be able to slow down and comfort them. Ashley said they were going to have a cozy day with movies. They have those nice big windows, and snow is falling, it'll be a good day for them.

So tomorrow is Kathryn's due date. We bought some newborn onesies yesterday, and they are so tiny! And the little diapers, Kathryn starts crying when she looks at the tiny stuff, but then she cries about everything these days ha. We all just can't wait to meet baby boy!!!!
