Mom and baby are doing well, they will be discharged tomorrow afternoon. That makes four nights at grandma's house for Grant and Ruth. Today they are joined by Wulf and Tennyson because their mama has some work things to accomplish. They are spending a few nights too, so it's quite fun here. We went in the pool for a bit, then Ruth got tired so Sonja so nicely brought her in and tucked her into a nap. I stayed in the pool with the boys for a while, not a hardship ha.
Tomorrow will be more challenging, as it's Sonja's first day of work, as a real bona-fide nurse, at the children's hospital. Char and Cam are going to work doing some painting, so I won't have them to help with the kids here. But, Miss Suzanne is coming for a visit, so yay!
It's warm and sunny and not humid, not too hot, just perfect today. Grant walked around the yard this morning to check on things. We picked a zucchini, turned on the pool, weeded the garden. I love the morning rounds in barefoot. I made them heart shaped waffles for breakfast. Lunch was turkey sandwiches, grapes, and chocolate chip cookies on the pool deck. As soon as one child was finished with his sandwich and asked for a cookie, the others were suddenly too full for their sandwiches and wanted cookies. Well, I'm grandma, so sure, have the cookies.
Ah well, lots going on...bye for now!

YAY!!! Congratulations! What do you mean it's not that humid here? Gurlllllll we got in yesterday morning and its humid, not as humid as Florida mind you. but nonetheless, humid, LOL.

Thanks everyone, I haven't met baby yet, was too busy with older siblings to go visit at the hospital, which btw isn't allowing sibling visitations for new babies because of C-vid, which is RIDICULOUS. But don't get me started, right?
Thank you though, she is a blessing and things went well. I really like her name too!
