it's summer here....

 

Yeah, just a bit much sun....oops.

The pool is a bit chilly, but we went in anyway.  The hot tub is nice!

We've been relaxing, it's so nice.  This backyard is such an oasis.  

This fine morning, we went to Target to get a few things for dinner...ribs, Mac and cheese, broccoli salad...

Camille and Evelyn made it to Norway, they face-timed me at 6:30 this morning, California time.  They were in London, eating fries at the airport.  Then they sent a pic of them at the train station in Oslo.  Margaret set out with Charlotte Claire and Amanda, their flight to NYC was canceled, so they missed their connection to London.  Four tries to book on other flights, no seats left, so Aaron and Riley gave them a whole bunch of airline points to fly a nice Singapore airline flight to Germany, then to Norway.  phew, and so nice of them.  Jonathan made it there uneventfully...and Kathryn made it from Salem.

Tomorrow, Paul turns sixty.  Can you believe that?  I am married to an old man, ha.  I know, I know, I'm no spring chicken either, I'll be 57 this summer.  

Ah well....it's super nice to be here, and we are definitely relaxing...
