nice to be home....

This is where we stayed....
Paul looking out over the frozen St.Lawrence.... Some guys ice-fishing out on the river....

shrink wrapped boats...

what a good idea...

The bridge over the thousand Islands.

Tourist tower...

The bridge to the USA

Pretty cool

Sackets Harbor, NY....where a war between England and the the Americans in 1812.....this house is still standing....the battlefield is in the foreground...

This is the harbour from the battlefield...frozen.

It looks cold....

Henderson Harbor, a few miles south of Sackets Harbor....very picturesque....ice-fisherman galore...

It's hard to see in this picture, but that square out on the ice is a rather nice and sturdy fishing shack....

Yea, it is good to be home. The kids have the whole week off for winter break. We went in the hot tub tonight, Kathryn, Evelyn, Suzanne, Sonja, Jonathan , and I. The sky was clear and starry, and we stayed in until Jon started saying his ears were freezing.
Camille was so happy to see me! I thought maybe she forgot about nursing, but as soon as I picked her up, she snuggled up......she did not forget. Aaron gets the million dollars for sleeping with Camille. She didn't wake up at all on Friday, but Saturday night she slept through until only 6:am, and Aaron struggled to get her back to sleep. Not too bad...
Well, vacation week....I need to go to the grocery store, we are down to less than two gallons of milk, and we're out of kitty food, and chinchilla food. The spoiled cats have been eating tuna.
Well, time to make a list, and get to bed....

What wonderful pics - it's so strange to see snow & ice everywhere - makes me cold just looking at them!
