in the land of lakes!
Lake Ontario today with Paul and the pups! They do not get tired of chasing the stick, but when they start really slowing down, we say bye-bye to the beach.
We brought them home, and ordered some chicken wings...then went to ANOTHER lake, Owasco Lake, for a picnic dinner. (We went to Cayuga Lake yesterday, that runs parallel to Owasco).
An entire day with no kids home...we went in the pool, puttered around in the garden...prepared the brisket for tomorrow, and made a Keto-ish cheese cake with a crunchy peanut butter/butter/almond flour crust and strawberries on top...so yeah, we did basically nothing, but went on our two outings...we're talking about getting a little tiny camper in a few years when the kids grow up some more, ha...

What a wonderful day, Della. Smiles. Thank you for the smiles, btw.
We do have a heap of lakes, don't we?
a couple posts back you wondered if anyone reads your posts....I do! all the time! thank you for sharing your faith filled life with me!
Linda, :)
Martha, we do! Several years ago, a friend from Oklahoma, upon visiting New York for the first time, was astounded at the lack of tall buildings and asphalt, here in central NY. So many people think: NY=city.
Mom-faith, hello! It's nice to meet you!
Those lakes are beautiful! I recently watched a few episodes on HGTV (Some kind of show like House Hunters, but it was lake houses) and there were some at the lakes you mentioned. I've never been there and was surprised at how gorgeous that water is.
