california goodies...

Aaron...we went out to lunch today, to a little wine bar in Walnut Creek.  I wish I had taken pics of all of our food, we had different things that we shared:  Mac and cheese with burnt edges of brisket, rosemary fries, pork belly on rice squares,  these other things I cannot even remember, but they had cheese, sausage and saffron...it was lovely outside, and such a yummy little feast, so many different flavors.

 And, perfection!  It was luscious, so good, but I couldn't finish it.  

And today...

We spent the afternoon in the pool....ahh, not too shabby!

Pretzel...such a good pup...they adopted her from the shelter a few years ago, she's a good girl.  She keeps an eye on things.

Just a little bit of California sunshine!

It was a bit smokey here today, but it cleared a bit in the afternoon.   The weather if perfect, and we are really relaxing.  We haven't done much today except visit the grocery store (Sprouts) for dinner fixings:  we are having street tacos.  We also stopped at Target for a few things, then...the afternoon in the pool.  Tonight we are eating outside...it's a lovely vacation.
