My granddaughter Ophelia, isn't she so sweet? She was fascinated with the decorations...and she had a cookie face, because Grandma bought her the snowman cookie from Starbucks, because that's what Grandmas do. My own kids split one once, ha.
Miss Lydia had a cake pop. She is truly a delight, she just chatters and enjoys looking at everything. She is good company.
Ophelia needed a coat, and they were 30% off online, so we were in the store, Molly picked one out, and we ordered it Order-Pick up, and were able to pick it up when we got to the register. I cannot believe how pricey little kids' coats and boots are. The boots at Target: $34.99 and 39.99, for little teeny boots. And, they were almost sold out, they didn't even have any in Lydia's size. The shelves weren't exactly empty, but oh my goodness, I feel sorry for parents who haven't gotten gifts yet, there are some bare spots.
My sweet Miss Charlotte Claire and Miss Sonja Kathleen made dinner while I was out at Target with Molly and the girls. They roasted some chicken breast and veggies (Brussel sprouts, apple chunks, sweet potatoes, onions...mmm!). We had a nice evening. Quiet.
Abigail is on her way to get me, I have to shop for Sunday's Christmas feast at church...so bye for now.
