After a day at the beach, a stop at a local coffee shop...I had the BEST coffee! These two had lattes.
Miss Char put her sweatshirt on for a bit, what??
Ahh...sunshine, a wee bit too much, although we northerners don't really believe in too much. (shh, maybe it's just too little sunscreen!).
In any case, the Gulf coast of Florida is beautiful.
We stopped at Publix on the way home and bought burger and chicken to cook on the grill back at Grandma's place. I love Publix, but it's very pricey. Chicken breast was twice what we pay at home.
This fine morning, we headed to the pool for a few hours. We're going to the mall later, after Grandma's eye appointment, then to dinner somewhere. Tomorrow, home....we'll head to the airport around noon, and hopefully make it back to central NY by eight.
Saturday is a big day, we've invited all the family over...so I have to get home and clean! Sam is coming for the weekend too! So right back into busy-ness when we get back!
It's been so nice to have some downtime though, some sunshine, some relaxing. And the pool water, oh so heavenly. It's heated, but not too warm, just right. I am starting to understand why old people like to move to Florida...
