staying in good spirits...

Our daily walk was only Jonathan, Abigail, and me. We had spent some time on the deck in the sunshine, and a few of the other girls decided they would just work out with resistance bands, ect. Char and Cam are playing wii dance. Sonja is doing homework. Evelyn is now cleaning out the pantry. I am going to go help her as soon as I rest up from my walk.

The kids are not bored yet. Camille's nails look fabulous, and they had a grand brekky this morning, courtesy of Jonathan: French toast with berries, and for boring old keto-ish carnivore-ish people like me, fried eggs.

We are making homemade pot pies for dinner, and extra for tomorrow too. We have a turkey in the freezer, maybe next week a turkey dinner.

After today, we won't be allowed to go out and about for anything other than essential work, doctor's appt/health reason, or exercise, or grocery store. We are supposed to social distance outside, but heck, we are in the house together, so duh?

I'm going to help Miss Evelyn Joy sort out the pantry....and make some pie crust!

Hi Della 👋 Good to get outside when possible. We went for a walk around the neighbourhood yesterday, but it was so icy in spots we had to cling to each other. So my daughter read the us riot act about old people......we are 76 and 80.........walking on the ice and falling and breaking something and ending up in hospital with all these really sick people. So.......today we sat on the porch in the sun for over and hour. She is right......we have only been asked to do one thing.....stay at home for 14 days. Our fathers.....mine at least......were asked to go to war, as many young men have been through the years, and they went. So staying at home for 14 days is easy. I should clean out my pantry too. I wonder what you will find....hidden treasures maybe 🤣🤣 Have a great day!

Oh, according the our police dept. You can go out, just have to remain 6 feet away from a person...no husband or wife walking together etc...(I asked).

Have a great Sunday friend. smiles

Hi Della, I always look forward to your posts but even more so now. So happy to see the smiles and positive attitudes. This situation is teaching me many lessons as to what is really important and what is just fluff.

My question is and no one wants to answer me, is ..... We are touching door handles on our cars, laundry, faucets and the lists goes on. Our CC's... mail... why is no one talking about that? Our mail man is not wearing protective gear and he should be the first one doing that! Again, frustrated.
We know this crap lives on card board for 3 days! That is crazy!

I say shame on the people who knew this was coming last Nov and then January! Perhaps if someone or someones started working on this then when they got a warning we would all be able to get out of our houses! Ok.. so I just ranted on your blog! lol So sorry!!

Like everyone else, I'm frustrated because we in the united states should have what we need to combat this sickness.

On a happier note! LOL I'm glad you guys got out. We'll go out tomorrow before our snow storm coming in. And then it will be nice out and we'll enjoy some fresh air!

Take care and stay safe!
Rose

Thanks for stopping by my blog! You have a beautiful family! I guess social distancing is rare at your house, huh? :) I'm glad to see you're all doing well and learning how to live in these rare, interesting times!

It sounds like your family is doing this the right way; fellowship, exercise and relaxing. Keep it up!!
