taking a break while the kids play in the new stove box

Paul is home today, and when the stove guys were leaving, he suggested they leave the box here for the kids to play with. I didn't think of it, and of course they love it. Suze (who is SO sick) cut out a window and a door. She helped them decorate the inside with crayons. Rosie was pretty interested. I truly think she believes she is child #17.
Charlotte Claire is so pretty....it still surprises me how different the kids all are from each other.

Of course they sneaked some of the juice drinks that are for school lunches.

Rosie wants to go in and play...

This is Charlotte Claire yesterday. Aaron took this picture. Then he carried her in and put her in her crib. She doesn't usually officially get put in for a nap, but sometimes she conks. I love how the older kids think this is so cute. She is sleeping with her orange webkin fishy.

And here she is all awake.

Jonathan loves Rosie.

Suzanne-the-school-skipper with her owl.

Camille is so nice to Charlotte Claire sometimes. She kisses her owies, and when she cries, she asks, "You okay? You okay?"

They were trying on their older sisters' dress-up dresses....

And this picture is for Joseph, because he likes pictures of the teddy bear. I mean the cat. Kitten Force.
My break is over, the kids are starting lunch, and Mirielle and I need to go to the store. Apparently we are baking almost 900 chocolate chip cookies for the soccer weekend. We need to go buy supplies. We won't bake them here, that would take forever, even in the fancy new convection oven. Our church has a beautiful commercial kitchen with a huge convection oven. And a big industrial mixer. So we will probably go out there and make them.
Well, the kids are starting without me....

I love how blonde your kid's hair is. My kids are all blonde but not as light.

Baking 900 cookies! Are you serious? Wow!!

Hubby flattens all boxes immediately, since my now 13 yr old was pretending the tv box was a ship and tipped it over, going face first into the floor. 2 permanent teeth, broken off, needing root canals and rebuilding was not cheap. And it hurt.
