Can't be positive, but it looks like a fox. We have coyotes in the forest preserves that surround our neighborhood, and they tend to be shaggier, grayer, and shaped a little differently.

Looks like a fox to me...we get them in our back yard too, usually very early in the morning or the middle of the night.

Looks more like a fox to me. Coyotes look like small wolves, in my opinion.
I'm pretty sure it's an elephant. We have those back in the orchard and they're always blowing their trumpets when it's time to go to bed at night. :)

I live in the UK and we don't have coyotes but we have ALOT of foxes - and that fella is a fox!!
Yes, I do think he is a fox too. We have lots of coyotes around here too, way out back. We can hear them howling sometimes, and it sounds so spooky.
