I can hear the rain, and the strum of guitars as Paul and Joseph play in Joe's room. And that is about all. The rest of the kids are in bed, except for Samuel, who is at Caleb's house, Abigail, Mali, and Margaret, who are on their way home from youth sports. I have been looking up vacations, and it looks dismal. Somebody, not me, did not get a passport. The vacation was supposed to be in early November, which is just a few weeks away. How could we book one with a passport not even applied for? We were looking into getting something all-inclusive, because we are such cheapies it would be stressful to go on vacation and pay bill after bill in restaurants, and we really don't want to go to a store and get food and prepare it, that is too much like home. It is what we have always done when we have gone away on our weekends, go to grocery stores....
Well, I have to go out in the rain and in the dark and pick up Aaron, apparently Abigail forgot him. Oh well. It is a nice night for a ride....and I was lonely anyway....

I have heard that January is a very good time for bargain vacations (Winter break is over but too early for Spring break). Perhaps that would give you enough time to get your passport in order AND score a bargain?
