Ben, Joseph, and Samuel were gone for dinner tonight, but the girls have a few friends over for the weekend, so it was plenty noisy at the table. I do believe that Camille makes 90% of the noise. Tonight she was just screeching for tator tots, then after dinner I noticed how many she had sent flying. I guess that is her idea of fun. I roasted up bone-in chicken breast, and made a yummy salad with grape tomatoes, green peppers, purple onion, cucumber, yum, but they mostly liked the tator tots.
We mixed up a double batch of brownies, which baked while we were eating, then served them warm....it was hard to save one for Ben, Joe, and Sam.....
We misplace the tv remote on a daily basis. We have never lost it permanently, just day to day misplacement. Tonight, Paul decided to flip the couch to look for it. HOW can THAT much stuff POSSIBLY get under the couch? It has a cover on it, so it can't slip between the cushions...I just don't get it. Matchboxes, waffleblocks, duplos, dollhouse people, hair ponies, pennies, papers, pens, Camille's other shoe, a fleece hat......I was trying to get dinner on the table....and then, such a mess to clean up. But, now it is clean under our couch.
I am glad we have so many kids, because by the time they take turns on the Wii or Xbox, they don't get overlymuch (that SHOULD be a word) time to play.
Right now, 10 kids are up, including the girls' two friends, and they are trying to decide what movie to watch. Which takes alot of arguing and negotiating. They finally decided......no, Mali is doing a surprise movie. Which is when she sneaks one in, and everyone yells either NO WAY, or YES!!.....Mirielle is on the treadmill, and Paul is on the other computer......and I should go, because Camille and Charlotte Claire are still up....

I am amazed at what gets under our couch too, i cant imagine what it would be like with 16 kids :-)
Ditto about losing the remote and finding stuff under the couch. My dog eats most things in the couch creases so that can get pretty disgusting!
