Car shopping has changed so much, with the internet. You can practically decide what you want, get the blue book value, find out who has what, where....it makes it easy to narrow down your options....
So, we got some alone-time today. We went to lunch. At: the grocery store. We had to stop for milk and bread, bananas, oranges, and apples. And we got a sub. And ate it in the truck together. And: it was very enjoyable. No interuptions......
Today I wore some of Emily's old boots. What a freezing day for looking for cars...especially with the wind. Brr. Enough to make you feel guilty, and want to buy one from everyone who had to be outside to help us...

nice van!!! do you take possession on tuesday? is that why he is excited?? i was very excited to get our 12 passenger chevy express. practicality at it's finest.
What kind of van is that? A Chevy what? It looks like a fairly good size one, seats 7 or 8?
The only car we have bought new is my 2006 Camry. We bought it through costco's member program. It was $350 over the manufacturers invoice. No haggling, no fuss, just show the participating member my costco card and decide which color/features I wanted.
Cool van! you have to pics of the inside, you have so much more choice over there when it comes to bigger cars, we have like 5 different makes and models over here for 7/8 seater vans, if you want anything bigger you have to get a commercial van and have it converted :-( then you have the 4wd's which are still squishy for a lot of kids, ours is the biggest kind of 4x4 you can get over here, you can occasionally find a suburban but the last one i saw for sale was over 60k and it was 8 years old ...eek! its ridiculous.. (oh and i am sure you wanted to know all that lol,but its 4am here and my tooth is killing me so i amjust trying to take my mind off it :-) )
